Identification Number

Finding your ID number

When Coinmama asks for your ID (or identification) number, it's referring to your passport number, national ID number, or driver's license number for the document you're uploading. It's the number that's uniquely yours!

Entering your ID number:

When entering your ID number, make sure you do so without any spaces, dashes, or slash marks in between. If you enter the number with spaces or symbols, you'll receive an error message that reads "invalid number."

ID already exists:

If you receive an error that the ID already exists in our system, it's most likely because you've already opened a different account using that ID. We only allow users to have one Coinmama account, and if we detect you've opened more than one, we'll have to block all but the original account.

If you're sure you haven't already opened a Coinmama account, contact our support team and we'll look into it.

Not sure which IDs Coinmama accepts? We've listed them here!
